Eureka and Mongrel Afghan Compatibility
« on: January 17, 2020, 03:35:49 AM »
I've decided on the Eureka range of Afghan/Mujahadeen for my Afghan project, as the main players. However, there's a couple of figures from Mongrel that might compliment the Eureka stuff, if they're compatible. Anyone with experience mixing these lines and are the differences noticeable?

I don’t have the Mongrel Afghans but I do have their Congo Mercs. They are roughly the same height and heft as the Eureka figures so shouldn’t look too out of place.

If you are looking to flesh out the Afghans with Lee Enfields, have a look at Empress’ interwar Afghan range. There are a couple of suitable figures there and they match well. You can also adapt the squatting chap from the Eureka Afghan civilian range. I gave mine an SMLE.

Thanks guys, that's helpful. I had come across a pic that our member "Tim in Saskatoon" had posted somewhere on the interwebs of all the manufacturers together, but of course, I didn't bookmark it.  :?

Yep, those are the ones. Thanks Von Lucky. The pic in question is about half way down.

Here's the pic with the comparisons. I'm sure Tim won't mind:
