One thing I have noticed (and this is just an observation) a number of the figures suffer from "Edith Swanneck Syndrome" and appear to have very long necks......

OK it could be worse - I spose it could be "Gladstone Small Syndrome" - see photo if you are not old enough to remember......

I have actually decapitated 5 figures out of 8 and cut their necks down before replacing their heads a little nearer their shoulders..... :)

Oh, I remember Gladstone very well! I've never stopped following international cricket since I was 6!

Greenstuff/ProCreate and patience is your friend in this matter :) I find ProCreate easier to work with but use both depending on what I'm converting.

I have a lot of the late saxons and in my opinion they are some of the better sculpts out there. The miniatures are complete with a good amount of detail. I would recommend them!
