Keith's World War Two Stuff (New Figures Added 03/03)
« on: January 27, 2020, 07:21:22 AM »
Started working my way through a series of German vehicles. First off the production line is the rather nice Rubicon Sdkfz 250/9.
I'll add an aerial and probably a commander when I've a few more finished.

I've included a WIP pic too because I found it quite satisfying - reminds me of an old Tamiya catalogue picture :-)

Thank you.
Yep, used an airbrush for most of it. Weathering was all done with acrylics (i.e. no pigments).

What an absolutely smashing job, Keith. Subtle as anything, but wonderfully sharp. Canít beat Rubicon for detail, can you. Lovely kits. A pleasure to build and paint.
(I have a stack to do - I must really get back to the western desert  lol)

Wonderful work Keith! The camo is great but the subtle weathering is the real king here.

:-* :-* :-* Impressive job Keith, as usual from you. Are those PE mesh screens that come with the kit or something after market?
