I had my first game of For King & Parliament yesterday. Great game that came down to the wire:

Great looking troops - 15mm I guess?

We’ve really enjoyed our games of FKaP, and in a reverse to you have then gone back to TTS to play Dark Ages and WoTR.

FKaP always seems to give a good game, and to us a good representation of a ECW battle.

Your game also shows that the grid system easily allows differently based armies to be used, without it causing any issues.

Yes: all 15mm. The big elements on the Roundhead side are all 15mm Peter Pig, except for the command figures and Gallant Gentlemen, which are Essex. Actually, the command figures are 19thC ones, as I hadn't painted the ECW ones yet!

Nice! I've been pretty interested in FK&P, too. I'm really curious about how the large grid expedites gameplay.

How long did the battle take to resolve for you and your mates?

About two hours playing time, and that was with a bit of checking the rules as it was the first time we'd played FK&P (although we're both very familiar with TTS).
