Just gone through the whole thread, some great stuff in here. I particularly enjoy when people get effective results from inexpensive materials :) Appeals to the tight Yorkshireman in me.

Also supremely jealous of your paper cutter. I've been after one for years every since I got some of the World Works Games stuff (they still exist?) that I never managed to cut out properly.

Thanks Si, cheap projects give me most joy I think, maybe There's a tight Yorkshireman in all of us lol.

That papercutter is nice but I dont use it anywhere near as much as I should I'm afraid! Even with the cutter world works games designs arent as practical as they seem  :'(. Good textures for the odd project though!

I'm sharing this because it felt so good packing this up that I had to unpack it and do it again ...

While i was beautifying my cardstock farmhouse from a warhammer project i decided to repaint and base some rocks and rebase some trees.

Also the grey warband from page 6 is getting close to being done. Maybe before this week is over.

What an excellent thread....ironically the dedicated Frostgrave board means I miss so many inspirational threads until every now and again, one pops to the top of the board.

Some lovely paint jobs, and builds...looking forward to watching your progress from now on

 :)

Thanks a lot Akula! I'll be following your already impressive progress as well :P! Although less people come to the Frostgrave board I do find it easier to follow! In the fantasy board the sheer amount of daily post is a bit overwhelming!

They are distinctive aren't they. Not sure why because I followed tutorials that have been done before but maybe this method is usually done for pine trees not so much leafy types (what are those even called ...). But I like 'em too, on a crowded table they get the job done nicely and they are basically unbreakable!

Anywho here are the archers of my maybe sort of Kislev style warband ... envoys of the Ice Queen perhaps searching the ruins of Frostgrave for some powerful spells to protect her lands? They might have to cross the Shadow Deep to get there though.

Thanks Rick!

I was struggling with phone when I took that picture so here's another try with morning light and a backdrop. I feel the last pic didn't quite do them justice!

Lol I had to look that up (the tribbles too and that kept me busy looking at silly pictures for a while)!

I'll have to paint a V neck sweater on the next one and put a cricket ball in his hand!  lol
