Some giant tree trunks and finished the river, they could use some shrubs and bushes but haven't found what i need yet. Might have to find some cheap sponges and tear them apart and paint em ...

lichen - durable, no so much, unless you soak it in pva (which I've done for tree foliage and it worked well enough - helps with the pong too probably).

although having said that, it doesn't shread that easily once the very loose stuff has come off - my brother has stands of lichen in its naturally soft state, and they seem to wear well. They certainly pack down very well for storage as you can imagine.

I like the trees and the river - that water looks clear and fast flowing (but cold if you fell in). What colours did you use for the water?

I cheated  ;) the water is a printout from a set of paper terrain company that hasn't done anything since 2013:

@bloggard: Thanks for the advice! I found a provider and they have so many colors ... Hopefully I'll have some soon

@LiamFrostfang: Glad you like it, thank you for the support!

blimey those rivers are indeed brilliant.

and 'I don't believe it' - I've been looking for good card stand-up terrain, wondering if that approach had any mileage - pretty much drawn a blank (for trees etc) and thought I'd seen everything.

shame they've not continued the line ... !

* - ah, I see, they were the people behind the Terraclips stuff - such a shame that's disappeared too ...

Yeah I liked terraclips Malifaux stuff ... I missed the boat on those but living in apartment and moving often that product would have been perfect.

For trees I like this guy's approach better:

https://crookedstaff.blogspot.com/2018/10/print-paste-wilderness-terrain-trees.html

I'm gonna make a few of those to add variety to my growing forest (when i'm not in the mood for painting) and I like the look of his scatter terrain.

Thanks Chimpfoot! Glad you like it ^.^

Here are some brimstone horrors as I work on reducing the pile of unpainted plastics ... When I read the Dark Alchemy solo scenarios I though I'd replace the monsters with Tzeentch daemons as it would make sense for the lord of Change to be interested in Felstad ...

Maybe not my best stuff but nobody is gonna stare at them for hours  ;D and tried something different on the bases.

After painting 10 silly flame boys I felt like having a go at a nice miniature! I'm happy with her!

I think I'm getting closer at the taking a picture thing ... argh ... if any of you see any obvious signs that i'm doing something wrong with the camera (phone) setting do let me know. At least in this one can see her eyes  :D
