An exclusive figures is always hard for people from far away. I also - as a german - want some figures and can‘t reach them. But the story behind the figures is, that the Perrys come to Hamburg since some years and one of the Tactica-Boys made several pictures for the Warlord books the boys were involved. In germany the audience is smaller than in the UK, but the audience is very good. So, allow us to get once a year these beauties as support by the Perrys and Aly Morrison. It helps to grow the audience.

A big thanks to Robin, aka 'Fraction' here, for stepping up and getting me a General Braddock figure. Braddock arrived in the post from Germany the other day and I can say he is a really nice figure!  :-* :-* :-*  Thanks again Colin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   ;)

Like many folks I see this as a hobby and, though I might travel once a year to Reading, I could not justify a trip abroad for it!

That's why I asked for someone going to the show to pick me one up  ;D

As for Reading, I use to justify that trip out of London but once Keegan's bookshop closed and with high train fares, I just opted to miss it.

FYI, the Braddock figure is really nice!  ;)

That's a long way to go for a figure!

If I'd realised I might have tried to get there.

Would love to get there one day.

In the meantime if anyone else has a Braddock figure they could spare I'm running a FIW campaign at the school club and it could be very handy. (Although Braddock has so far avoided his historical fate)

Just remember that if Braddock hadn't messed up and walked into a French ambush then good ole George Washington would have never become such a hero (in the retreat) and as a result, ended up commanding the American Patriot forces that threw the Brits out of America! ;)

... and if Washington had better control of his Native allies the FIW might never have occurred!
