Minifigs 1970s SciFi figures
« on: February 13, 2020, 04:56:07 PM »
I have a small collection of the old Minifigs SciFi range from the 1970s, all unpainted. Aquila Death Angel, Terresti Mad Rider etc. I guess about 12 figures. Is there a market for this stuff on E-bay? Or should I re-purpose them for some sort of Saga Age of Magic army?

There’s someone out there who’d probably love to have those figures.  I’m a sucker for old Mikes Models Colonial figures.  Ya never never know what odd little minis will tickle your fancy.

Minifigs are still selling them (see http://www.miniaturefigurines.co.uk/Catalogue.aspx?ScaleID=3&CategoryID=35&SubCategoryID=288) so I guess there's still a market for them.
I don\'t know whether to be a good example or a horrible warning.

They were/are great little minis. For anyone interested the full range is pictured on Lost Minis.

Personally I'm still hankering for the old Barry Minot sci fi ranges, he did some Haggis types and Sherlock Holmes ones as well. All for a short time so not easy to find.

I stumbled across these some days ago by coincidence, and some are really nice and retro. I'm seriously considering getting some of the vehicles and of those space troopers, even though they'll probably not fit any of my other Scifi stuff...
