Spectre game. Middle East and onwards
« on: February 16, 2020, 10:59:10 PM »
Table laid out for next weekends game, in the Lead Shed.
We will be playing a game of modern Spectre.
Never played it before, so looking forward to it.
Table laid for a Middle East scenario.

Table looks fantastic. What scenario are you playing?

Will you be recording it/photographing it for a Batrep?

If you've never played Spectre before you're in for a treat, it's such a great game system.

Cheers chaps for the nice comments.
Got an idea of the scenario, but will be finalised on Friday night, the night before the game.
After action report, plus plenty of photos will be posted here.

I had a great time. I didn't really understand what the heck was going on, other than
plan A didn't make it past part way through move ONE!
We (USA/UK hired specialists) were to get across town & rescue our target local.
The opposition wanted him for their own reasons (not healthy) & would be searching the
town. Our plan was:- Team 1) act as a diversion & head to the wrong side of town.
Teams 2) & 3) would then head to the target, rescue him & get him back to the safety
of our compound.  What could possibly go wrong?  Well...
As we opened the car-park barrier an RPG whooshed in, hit team 1)'s car (I hate you
Digits). In short order after that we lost a lot of guys. By the time game was called
they had captured the target & two of their teams hadn't even got a scratch!
For us:- Team 1) All dead, Team 3) All dead, Team 2) 50% Dead!
Ian, not surprisingly, gave the victory to the locals.
Pictures are in no particular order or plan, just wanted to show the nice figs/scenery.

Some more.  If you look closely you can see Digits firing his RPG,
& shortly before our forces preparing to leave the compound.
