28mm Beastmen
« on: February 18, 2020, 02:38:34 PM »
Hello again All,
Been meaning to do these minis for years .
I had the Gw/Marauder/Harlequin metal minotaurs for more than 20/30 years.
The bodyguard are from Reaper
The beastlord was by a Spanish company ( can't remember the name )

The shaman is converted/scratchbuilt.

Gulliman's flesh contrast paint really speeds up painting beastmen, where you have lots of exposed flesh.

Thanks for your comments.

The Beast Lord is my favourite. Great tip about the contrast paint too, thanks.

I love them. I've got a few of those minotaurs as well. Brilliant older sculpts.

Thank you & you're welcome Elk.

Have to say that contrast paints are superb & quick to apply & build up,  for "loads of flesh "minis ( beastmen, barbarians, poxwalkers etc )

Just remembered the Beast lord is by Avatars of War & still in production as far as I know.

Beefcake - Pity Marauder closed shop years back. Wish I had got all 4 Minotaur sculpts.
