I think they would be ideal for 28mm post apocalypse wargames.

those are available in the US as well.  I have seen them at the Spirit Store and possibly Dollar General at Halloween time, and bought a sheet with plans to use them for a Zombie game myself.  Unfortunately they don't seem to show up in the Spirit Store's online store.
