Post-apocalyptic gang (Mark Copplestone sculpts)
« on: April 09, 2020, 03:33:40 PM »
I am gradually building a gang to use with the Necromunda rules. I love Mark Copplestone's sculpting style, so I've got packs from both his Copplestone Castings range and a range he did for Foundry. The gang has a sort of biker, trailer trash sort of vibe to it; noticeably more amateur and beer-swilling than some of the more serious Necromunda gangs, but fairly dangerous nonetheless.

I hope the images upload okay, first time doing this!

My armies:
- Henry VIII's army (WIP) 15mm
- Ancient Germans (28mm)
- Ancient Belgae (Gauls with German allies) (28mm)
- Massilian Greeks (Greeks and Gallic mercenaries/subjects) (28mm)
- A few EI Romans (28mm)
- Handful of WW2 British (15mm)
- A load of old 1993-1999ish Warhammer Orcs and Goblins

Nice work, like your painting style. I'm sure I have those minis somewhere in my great piles (of unpainted lead). Pictures worked fine if somewhat at 90 degrees to the vertical.  Stay safe, GDonk

Nice work. I love those Copplestone near future minis, and the Biker gang are some of the best.

Ha, yes, I don't know how they got the wrong way up, as the originals are the right way round.

Thanks for the comment

Yeah, the bikers are full of character!
I will add the others as I get them done.

Yeah, I think they would suit Orlocks the best. I don't actually own the Necromunda rules so am some way off actually using them to be honest, but a friend has got a Van Saar gang in production, so it'll happen some day!

Okay, I found out how to stop the images being on their side!

Here are two more additions to the gang; two very badass bikers. I really like the chunkiness of these figures, it lends itself well to giving each one a strong character which suits a small gang-based skirmish game.

Not sure how to do the bases yet  :?
