Converted Guard Veterans, and other things...
« on: February 24, 2020, 10:23:34 PM »
So I decided to start up a small force of GW's new Sisters of Battle. I decided to try making a colored metallic with the Contrast paints for the armor and went for an orange, a color I haven't really used all that much earlier, and I'm quite happy with the result. Going for a homemade Order Minoris, I named them The Order of the Eternal Pyre.

That metallic orange looks really nice.

Very nice.

Distinctive colours.

Thank you. Finished off the first batch of arco-flagellants. Pretty happy with them, but the thin whip/flails are gonna drive me nuts when I have to transport them…. They look cool, but they're so spindly. Might have to convert some beefier flails at some point.

You could put magnets underneath their bases. That would
hold them steady in transport, & stop them damaging their whips.

Those are some clean paint jobs! Love the Sisters scheme, I've not seen them in those colours before!

Thanks, still working on the army. Broke it up a bit, by doing some Guardsmen Veterans converted from some Necromunda Orlocks and some scions.
