As promised, I have posted to my blog a battle report of a small solo "Wars of Ozz" game I fought over the weekend. Hopefully it will give folks a general idea of the flow of the game.

I've just finished painting up my very first unit for Wars of Ozz.
It's a unit of Gilikin Line Infantry armed with musket and bayonet.

Great job on the figures, Chris!

Last weekend I set up and played another solo game and just posted a battle report on my blog for those who are interested in seeing how the game plays:

That looks to be a wonderfully whimsical, highly imaginative game. I love the Big Pumpkins. GREAT STUFF!

Over Easter weekend I got to paint my first unit of Quadling line infantry, and very smart they look to in their red coats and lace.

The miniatures were a joy to paint, and the Inline Alpha contrast paints I used went on very well. Next unit on my painting desk is 'Tin men'.

This is all pulling me in, I love the Oz stories and aesthetic... the miniatures look great... I'm not really on for a big army game in 28mm though.
Still, I'm curious how much Oz flavor comes through... skeletons?

At very least I'm going to have to have some munchkins... and flying monkeys... and those pumpkins...

Those Quadling line infantry are lovely, really quirky figures. :)

Last Saturday, rules author Buck Surdu and I played a game of Wars of Ozz over the internet using FaceTime. For this battle we did Gillikens vs Quadlings.

I have posted a brief report to my blog: https://onemoregamingproject.blogspot.com/2020/04/playing-wars-of-ozz-via-facetime-battle.html
