"Pillage then Burn"
A good lesson for us all. I've added some photos to this page, most notably to the banner photo which is now a short slide scroll, separated from the blather that follows. it may interest some. This shows the technique of "get them done" and ready for a game and then a WSS magazine photo shoot, then add the details later. As I get in the mood I will add shield details and stripes and dots to these varied figures collected over eons.  But the mass appeal of varied colors is enough to make it appear that there is great variety.

Nice Jeff!

What rules are you building a whole army for?

Cheers

This game was set up for a Lion's Rampant game test. I have since combined those ideas with WAB style formation rules. I wrote this up in Wargames Strategy and Soldiers # 98.

Love the quote - I have a tshirt from the schlock web comic regarding the correct order of pillaging.  The colorful masses make for very nice looking forces.
