Blitzkrieg Miniatures Hellcat help
« on: March 12, 2020, 03:08:23 AM »
Wondering if someone can help me out. If someone could measure a 1/48 or  1/56  Blitzkrieg Hellcat for me from front to rear fender. I know it was a small vehicle but it looks so tiny next to my M10 I think they might have sent me a 1/56 instead of a 1/48 model.  Thanks,Pete

Well if its accurate the 1/56th should be 94.2mm
and the 1/48th should be 110mm

Lol, I’m just expecting my Hellcat from Blitzkrieg any day!
I’ve ordered a 1/48 scale as all my US is either that or 1/50.

As soon as it arrives I’ll have a measure... ;)

105mm sounds like it started out as 1/48 and has shrunk in the mold.

Anyhow still waiting for mine  :?

Funny thing about a manufacturers interpretation about scales.  I've bought a Blitzkrieg model in 1: 48 and looked smaller than a plastic model of the same vehicle type...mmmm...I thought it was a 1:56 scale, but I was told via email it was the 1:48 version.

Now I have a 3D printer, and get pretty spot on for 1:48 scale.

BTW...just 3D printed out a Hellcat a few weeks back; will have to wait until I get home from work to make a measurement if still needed.
