GASLANDS - The Freelancer
« on: March 16, 2020, 07:46:11 AM »
Hello everyone,

what started as a little side project on Chaosbunker.de has grown so well materialwise, that we thought we'd make a regular article series about it. So from now on you'll find an update on the creation of the Freelancer stable every now and then.

Due to the age of the forum, there is no possibility of simply copy pasting the article over to here, so I'll do it like in my other topics, post a pic with the current content and a link to the full article. Enjoy!

The engines have cried out again, and they want to see colors! This is how I responded.

Thanks! I'm continueing with some more Gaslands stuff for a while, before I switch back to Frostgrave or Dead Man's Hand. Gotta say, Gaslands is an incredible driver for creativity - noones's judging, everbody enjoys playing, the only thing I miss is some narrative or campaign reports. Probably will do an own one due to that.

Right now I've got a couple of ...."diverse leftovers" laying around on the table with the intention to build a Start gate....waiting for inspiration to strike...

Just like in the good ole‘ days when all we had to build a skimmer was an empty bottle of shower gel!

Seriously, that is what is keeping me happily in Oldhammer, smaller scales and Indy-systems (with easy rules not aimed at pay2win).

That car really turned out great.  I really need to dig out more old bits for conversions...

Thanks! I've summed up a little amount of newer cars recently, but I also had this ugly thing still laying around and tried to make something out of it. As I don't have a lot of terrain yet, that was the logical way to go.

Paintjob will be seen next week thou, this is only the approach to it. Might still give it a look and leave some feedback on the blog, as it's a great motivational driver for my buddy who is running the site.

Using old wrecks is a good idea for some terrain with a bit of color.

It just adds more flair, if you paint them in typical sponsor colors. Tried to do exactly that, and here's the finished terrain piece. As always give it a look on the Chaosbunker and let me know what you think. Cheers everyone!

That is an excellent job of painting and weathering.   :-*
