Cactus and yucca trees
« on: March 19, 2020, 07:59:04 PM »
I backed a kickstarter that had some really neat scatter terrain and here is a sampling.  I figured I could use them for lots of stuff and printed up a nice assortment.

I like the look of those, and would like to get some. Are they going to be generally available? I know here's a set from Kromlech and at least one other manufacturer I can't think of, but these show a lot more variety.

I actually am a licensed printer for this manufacturer.  I just haven't gotten to the point of trying to sell prints yet.  The other thing with 3d printing is you can mirror items as well to get even more variety.

I'm sure many people, myself included, would be interested if you do start printing for distribution.

I dont want to violate any rules here i wasn't advertising.  I was sharing what i had printed.  I will be setting up an etsy store to sell these and other items. But until i figure out how/if i can share that store here i will be quiet on that front.

Members frequently post links to their own ranges here, often labelled as advertisements, so as far as I'm aware that's not a problem, but of course it's as well to seek clarification from a moderator to find out just what is permissible.

Do look good but the yucca - and the joshua - trees were mostly in southern California and western most Arizona and southern most Nevada.  Some of the worst desert in North America - think Death Valley area (though a little wider afield than just that).  Kind of like Monument Valley so famed from movies, might look pretty but not much happened in such desolate places prior to paved road and reliable automobiles.  Just sayin'.  Now eastern Arizona and Western New Mexico (or more) had lots going on during the Old West period.  And, generally, not nearly so desolate.
