The latest update shows how I started to paint the model - with the roof being the fist piece of colour.

The walls and steeple have now been painted.

The groundwork has been painted with a Snakebite Leather base and then highlighted with a Snakebite/white mix.

Small stones have been picked out in grey, highlighted with some white.

The model is now finished and details of how it was varnished and based can be found on my Blog.

As stated earlier, the model was originally featured in Miniature Wargames, but these regular updates have included more images and extended text to show how I build, paint and finish my scratch-built terrain.
