I found these Ready2Robot action figures in Poundland. But the Packaging is more useful!!
They come in a package crate as you can partly see here. Have compartments with the bits to build customizable robots in. A bit to cutesy but weapons may be of use.
Hexagonal so you can place them together and stack them if you want a bigger building! I got one looked at the packaging and got 5 more! All gone from my local Pounldand now.
Some other WIP and Jenga concrete walls on my Blog. Hope you can find some if you are interested.

Good spot.
My Boy has loads of these and I keep thinking the same thing! Eyes like a hawk though - takes after his mother...
