Gaulish Warriors for Infamy, Infamy
« on: March 28, 2020, 09:21:25 AM »
I recently painted some Warlord Gaulish warriors for the Too Fat Lardies forthcoming Infamy, Infamy ancient rules. There's a few picture son the blog and an explanation behind my thinking for them, please take a look here:

A very nice looking unit.

I've always been put off Gauls/Briton's by the thought of painting checks - but I think I might try your approach on some Northstar mini I have in the pile.

Lovely jubbily  :-* :-* :-*

I was really looking forward to trying out Infamy, Infamy! at WorLard.

Happy to wait for the rules to be released but it would have been great to have a run through first as I'm the sort of person who can read a rule book, not remember a thing, re-read the rule book and not remember a thing  lol

Cheers guys. I have painted checks on some of my.later figures  these ones are just the first batch and I wanted to see how they'd turn out.

The game looks good from what I have seen and doesnt require a huge outlay to get some decent forces on the table.

I caught a little bit of the game at Vappa and it looked splendid. I couldn't get in close enough to really ask any questions as the table was *very* busy. There's obviously a great deal of interest in the game  8)

Yeah, this is kinda why I got caught up in it as well. I am also intending on making a video about the game, so I needed something to illustrate the mechanics and such.
