Don's Sudan
« on: March 29, 2020, 09:55:32 AM »
I am trying to make the best out of the time I have to spend indoors now. So I thought of painting a few things off my lead and plastic mountain.

I gathered some Plastic Ansars so I thought it would be a good opportunity to get a few of them painted.

Starting with some Fuzzy-Wuzyzs...

And a few with normal headgear...

Cheers,
Don

Thanx, gents.

Here is the rest of the miniatures I painted in the last days.

And a total overview of the Corona Sudan minis so far....;)

Next I will concentrate on cav and some odds and ends.

Very Nice - the Perry figures are tempting but for colonials I prefer small scale figures.

I like how the figures look 'dirty' as if they were actually out on campaign.  There are some truly fine painters here on LAF that do superb paint jobs but they are often just way too clean to be out on a campaign.  I get it, display cabinet quality and that is just fine - but yours really look the business.  Fine job.

I really like the different size irregular bases- that's visually very pleasing.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.
