Ancient Ruin from Printable Scenery
« on: April 02, 2020, 11:12:19 PM »
This is one of the pieces from Printable Scenery's Ancient Ruin set, along with a lich or something from Reaper WotC (?).

I don't really use a lot of this sort of terrain in our D&D games, and I'm not a fantasy wargamer, but I do like making and decorating things like this. It's printed in PLA at 0.2mm layer height on my Ender 3, painted in a variety of acrylics, and with fine foam flock to represent moss between the flagstones and what-not.

Very nicely done. The flocking makes it really stand out. While I love 3d printing (I should, I have a small business with it!) There is still a lot of post print work to make them look really great and give them their own unique vibe. You've done a great job.

You did an excellent job at hiding the printing lines. The way those usually stand out even after painting is one of the things that have put me off printable scenery so far.
