Officially C15TA was used as an armoured troop carrier or ambulance.  In practice, it was used in a variety of roles, providing lightly armoured hauling capacity as needed.

Thanks.

Having read the M3 White entry in both (first edition) Commonwealth and US Bolt Action army books (interesting difference of opinion on the M3's scoutiness), and it's disappearance after 1944, can I assume that the C15TA (with opponent's permission) would fit in the transport slot in later lists.

Now, if while the crew for this are being sculpted a British crew for the jeep can be added, that would suit my tentative plan for an Ian Fleming style Techno-Snatch squad.

A right ugly brute of a vehicle... I gotta get me one, well maybe 2 or 3.
If used in Indo-China, as previously mentioned, I can justify having it/them.
Bonus if available from Empress.

Yes, used by the French and passed on to the South Vietnamese who used them in the 1960's. Also used in an number of other colonial conflicts. https://www.mapleleafup.nl/cmpvehicles/c15ta.html http://mapleleafup.net/forums/showthread.php?t=13686

They also saw service with the Portuguese in Guiné during the colonial war.

All in all a very useful vehicle.

Great idea. Me want FRENCH for Indo-China.
Oh & if they could also fit:-
Universal carriers, Coventry Armoured cars (a model of which would also be useful),
Lynx scout cars & Indian pattern FAT with armoured cab.

Sorry forgot to put 'Dear Santa' at the start of the list.

Maybe we should have another thread with "What do we want Rich H to design for Empress"?

I have a list...

Since you've already done the C15TA, I'll vote for the Otter!  (Although I probably shouldn't, all my current vehicles are 1/56, and I don't want to change now!)
