Sedd el Bahr Fort, Gallipoli

As part of the Gallipoli campaign, I created a model of Sedd el Bahr Fort. The fort overlooked V Beach at Cape Helles and contributed to the severe delays getting off that beach on April 25 1915. Here is a photo of the model:



Thanks to photogrammetry, it has been possible to transform the model into a 3D image for printing. Here is how the software recreated the model from 42 photos taken with an iPhone, each photo taken from a different angle:



And here is a view of the STL model, ready to 3D print.
