Morgoth
« on: April 25, 2020, 08:20:56 PM »
Melkor hid so long in Angband that he was forgotten and remained only semi-painted for an entire Age.  He finally forgot his own name and instead called himself Morgoth.  Stumbing into the twilight of another age, he emerged to be fully painted.....

From the  viewpoint of Fingolfin.  Poor Morgoth has blackened hands from playing with someone elses hot jewels.

From the viewpoint of Thorondor.

That's really fantastic.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Nice work.  What's the base model?

Cheers, everyone.
The figure is a Wizkids Fire Giant.  As soon as I saw him I thought "Morgoth".  I now have two Morgoths, although one is a recycled Papo figurine.

Very evocative!  I may have to borrow that idea if I get into fighting battles from the Silmarillion.
