A colorful and dynamic army.  Well done.

Thanks for the kind comment!

Here comes the last bit of the army - the Celtic cavalry. The left unit are from Warlord's SPQR resin range, who I've decided are nobles and count as medium cavalry as armoured. The right hand unit are from Armorum and Aquila, and are smaller than I expected them to be (actually too small really - more like 25mm in size) so I count them as my light cavalry.
My armies:
- Henry VIII's army (WIP) 15mm
- Ancient Germans (28mm)
- Ancient Belgae (Gauls with German allies) (28mm)
- Massilian Greeks (Greeks and Gallic mercenaries/subjects) (28mm)
- A few EI Romans (28mm)
- Handful of WW2 British (15mm)
- A load of old 1993-1999ish Warhammer Orcs and Goblins

Great army, nice work on getting those Warlord Games warriors to look like they're charging forward instead of looking for their chariot keys.

Thanks both!

Yes Cadbren, I see what you mean about the chariot keys! "They must be somewhere in this long grass....."

The pose that annoyed me a bit with the Warlord figures was the arms spreadeagled, holding the shield back and away from the body, as if welcoming a pilum to the chest with open arms. A few of these guys is fine, but there were too many. I did a few conversions so there were more guys actually using their shields to block missiles, as I'm sure even the wild celts tried to avoid getting skewered where possible  ;)
