The Excavation/Archaeological Site Scratchbuild
« on: May 04, 2020, 12:19:51 PM »
Can always use said for TSATF and my colonial/horror gaming.

Quick build, and wanted it kinda generic, AND provide access to the dungeon/catacombs under the top desert layer of my table.  I figure I can add details and accessories depending on scenario (Egyptian, etc)

Also some kinda weird tents/canopies for crew and HQ.
Not finished yet.

Looks good, Smokey, especially like the fire ring on one piece.  But you've got to texture the interior of the building with the ladder - or at least paint the floor to match!  :o  Inspires me to make something similar to go along with my group of archaeologists (from Blue Moon's DDA 15/18 sets).

Smokey, will there be any interior data? Possibly make some other dig scenes or half buried relics?

I can here the shovels and picks hitting dirt and rock.

Have you designed a scenario yet? Sudan, Egypt, Morocco, ????

Im thinking: The Sword And The Zombie!

The expedition and security platoon dissapear.

A force is sent to secure village nearby, then find them.

The town is in ruins, disfigured bodoes everywhere.  Then they meet the zombies!  (got a bunch of blue moon wounded mahdists and egyptians, and generic Reaper bones zombies, thatll wirk great).

Also, opportunistic Mahdists pick at them from the perimeters.

Then they go to the site, and its a kinda dungeon crawl, with zombies
