3D printed 6mm figures
« on: May 13, 2020, 03:51:00 PM »
German motorcycles in 1:285 scale, on a base measuring 30 x 30mm. I can't believe the quality, just reduced 28mm models down and 'stuck' them on the base with the CAD editor.

That's pretty good 3d printing. I'm impressed.

Wow, those have come out well. Are just scaling down larger figures, and they are printing fine?

These are scaled down from 1/56 models. The prints have been fine, yes.

Robert, these are very impressive on a number of levels - not the least of which the element stands are multi-model populated, but quality prints too.

How long is it taking to print up one these, for example on the M-30 howitzer stand?

Thanks, FlyXwire. This model took about 80 minutes to print.

A couple of other views. Some tidy up still needed, for example with the remnants of supports on the base.

That looks really good - can't believe you have painted a hat band in 6mm...

The integrated unit names are such a brilliantly simple addition.
