Cards for Ganges?
« on: May 15, 2020, 09:50:17 PM »
Hi All,

Can anyone tell me where I can find the cards for "Ganges" from WI 390?:

https://www.wargamesillustrated.net/shop/wi390-april-2020/

They're for the Thug-fighting mod of Congo.

I've asked WI but received no reply, and I can't find the download on their site.

Thanks.

L

I asked WI too and also didn't get a reply
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

I'm still waiting for my April 2020 mag. I hope it is just delayed in a Pandemic PO pile somewhere.

Good thinking! Thanks for the idea.

The piece was written by Nick Buxey.

He says also that in the past he has done a Congo mod for games in South America which he called Amazon.

I'd also like to get my lunch-hooks on that material.

I'll check the member list here and sing out if I find him.

Cheers,

L

There are a few Nicks, and one NickB, so I pinged him.

Of course if the fellow I'm looking for is using a handle -- like, say, Doctor Terror -- then I got nuthin'.

NickB has kindly informed me he's not the Nick Buxey we're looking for.

Well, Doctor Terror it is!

I don't have a link for the cards (and would also be interested in them when they appear), but I have put together a page of links to various resources for games in Darkest Africa. There are other scenarios for Congo in WSS and WI. Always looking to add more.
