The leader with the helmet with the horse hair could use some re-work on his face if you have the chance.
Yes. I will redo the face. I sculpt after work and I am a little tired sometimes. During sculpting, flaws are not noticeable. If you can tell me about how else I can improve the figures - I will only be glad.

Awesome and original!

Magnificent work - great to hear this will go into production.

Will there be pre-orders? I'd be keen.

Perhaps, in the fullness of time, undead auxillia could join their legionary comrades in the ranks of the Exertius Mortuorum*.

I love these.

You asked for some ideas so here you go.  They are meant with love and appreciation, please don't take it the wrong way.  :-)

For faces, I suggest making a very clear skull.  This guy seems to have meaty cheeks which doesn't make sense for someone partly decomposed.  It just looks off.  If we want the face to look like a zombie with some skin leftover then we can do that with paint.  We don't need "meat" provided by sculpting material.

For the lower legs, I suggest making them straight instead of bowed.

Cloth should have a few more cuts in it, especially in the main part of the cloth.  Edges can be cut with a knife by the customer if we want but getting good tears in the middle of the cloth is harder and best done in the softer epoxy.

Hunched over guys should be looking forward instead of down.  The idea is that they are exhausted but still looking with intent at cutting down the living.  Like their spirit is more motivated than their bodies are strong, if that makes sense.  Or maybe they are thinking, "I am dying and I am coming to take you with me!" as opposed to just being exhausted.  Heads down are not threatening looking.

You might want to make a perfect helmet and perfect skulls and use these sub-components on all the minis.  This way you won't have to keep making the same part each time.

I love what you are making!  I hope you consider making undead Hoplites and Conquistadors, too!

One of my all-time favorite lines are the undead Baluchis from Josef Ockman at Obelix Designs (I think that's the name).  I keep thinking of a lost group of soldiers (or natives) who discovered some kind of Water of Immortality but that water just makes them undead, not strong and healthy forever.  Your Romans look just like this!  Great job!

Thank you very much. I am very glad that you like it.

Edited orders sounds interesting. But I do not know if mail will work normally and if mail can do everything on time.
I think it’s best to wait until the master model gets to the caster.
Excuse me please.

There will be a sequel very soon!

All....we are considering do the Damned in resin instead of metal.

It would be the first time using this material.

How do those of you that are interested in these figures feel about that?

For myself, I'd prefer metal but really would be open to either option.

I'm really not a fan of resin miniatures per say. I find them too brittle. That goes for the ones that claim to be "none-brittle" too :)

Having said that, it's the shields that I'm interested in and they wouldn't be a problem. I'm thinking of doing some cold weather Early Imperial Romans for Infamy! Infamy!  and the shields look just about right for my purposes :)

Metal for sure.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt
