I have a box of these, as mentioned already they are not as nice as the Perrys by some way, some of mine have come out ok, others less so
Hmmm...
Sorry to Wargames Atlantic fans for being a gloom-monger, and fair play to WA for stealing a march on the Perrys with this release, but once the Perry set is out, I honestly can't see many people buying these in preference. The detail looks quite soft and some of the posing unnatural - a problem with quite a lot of digital sculpting of plastic figure kits.
The Perry set contains 10 different bodies, 16 different heads, and an RRP of £20. The WA set has just five different bodies, 12 different heads and an RRP of £25. Admittedly it looks like you get 36 figures in total in the Perry set, versus 40 in the WA set, but the quality of the Perry product in terms of sculpting and moulding is going to be superior in every respect, and with a much greater number and variety of components, arms and weapons. In terms of versatility, price, and product quality, the Perry set wins.
I guess Wargames Atlantic's best hope is that some people also buy this set to add some further variety.
