Lucid Eye Amazon Wardaughters
« on: May 31, 2020, 06:07:32 PM »
I have finished this three figures, I really enjoy painting Steve Saleh's figures. These are Lucid Eye Wardaughters with swords. I painted them as some kind of reptilian creatures to be used as Temple Guard proxies in Mortal Gods or any rules set that  allows for such a thing.

Those are really cool! I love that flesh colour!
Would you say that Lucid Eye figures are standard 28mm or a bit larger? I'm very tempted to buy a small unit of their Sea Peoples and the Goliath-type figure as a unit of mercenary allies for my 'Sword and Sandal' Mythic Greek Dragon Rampant force, but I'm using Crocodile Games Athenians for that and they are heroic scale - nearer to 32mm...

Nice sculpts but really it is your brushwork that is magical. Your concept and execution on the reptilian aspect is pure genius!

They are a bit bigger, I'll take a look later and try to get a comparison shot with another figure. They are based in a 25mm round base, you can get an idea by comparing the height with the width.

There you go Guitarheroandy, LeadAsbestos answer is much better than mine because I haven't got any Crocodile figure  lol. Cheers.

Thank you both!  :D Need to paint a few more Athenians before I buy more stuff, but it looks like the Sea Peoples mercenary band might just make an appearance!
