Satyr/demon bust - sculpt and paintjob
« on: July 05, 2020, 06:14:11 PM »
I sculpted this little bust a couple of month ago as a bit of a boredom killer at the start of lockdown - then promptly but him on a shelf and forgot about him.
fast forward to two weeks ago and i loose my glasses on the bus, rendering me blurry eyed and annoyed at my inability to hobby.
Anyway, on one of my many journeys from the bed to the fridge i came across this chap and figured he's big enough for me to paint without straining my eyes too much, So i decided to give him a quick bit of colour. nothing fancy, But i did expierment with directional lighting for fun.

And the raw sculpt , given a wash to show the detail.
