Website suspended message?
« on: July 08, 2020, 06:45:15 AM »
I have been having a strange problem with the forum the last few days. When I try to access certain pages I get a screen that says the website has been suspended, contact technical support. It happens when I try to open my pm’s, open the fantasy section and show new replies to your posts function. I can access everything else ok, write pm’s, I can even get to Threads in the fantasy section if I search for that thread specifically, ie search for my own Middle Earth project thread.

Any one have any idea what is wrong?

I have an unopened PM in my inbox and it is frustrating to be unable to open it.

How long did it take to pass? It has been about three days I think for me, and still has not gone away as of now.

OK, for some unexplained reason I can access my PM’s now and open the Fantasy section but still get the suspended message for new replies to my posts function.

I don't have a problem at all anymore . It lasted for about an hour on Monday morning.

Well, it is finally working again. No explanation but it is.

Happened to me yesterday, for the whole site. Lasted maybe half an hour, I think, and then seemed to solve itself, but it looks like the same problem.

I have no explanation, just logging the fact that it happened.

It's happened to me a few times, usually in the morning. I just thought it was maintenance but it seems to be happening with more regularity and at variable times.

If I was to make a guestimate, I would say that it happens at least twice a day at my end.

Pulling this thread up again. This seems to be ongoing. For the first time I received this error when trying to access the site. Whereas on most other occasions the error was a bad gateway.

Hopefully this isn't indicative of a larger issue? But has this been something which has been looked into with the Host? As its been ongoing for Months now at least.

Ditto on both messages/errors

My issue continues to look like it cleared up, it has been working fine since July.

I get a website suspended page when I click on show unread topics using Safari on my desktop Mac. Works fine in Chrome and my iPad, so looks like it might be a problem connected to the latest Safari update, which won't be the first time.

And I forgot ... my photo has also disappeared when I use this version of Safari (Version 13.1.2.)
