3d printing Bridge project
« on: July 11, 2020, 09:51:17 AM »
I've been working on some stuff for my next Kickstarter campaign and thought I'd share some renders of what I've made. It is absolutely massive, the minimum size to make it (scaled for 28mm) is about 90cm long.
The first pic is just the bridge, with drawbridge and guardhouse. The next pic shows a warehouse that can butt up to the river walls. The last pics show the buildings that can line the bridge top to make it a bridge district of its own.

Looks great! I especially like the buildings along the side of the bridge.

Do you print those buildings so that they can expose the interior floors as playable space? It looks like they're very narrow, so you wouldn't be able to get many figures on standard 25mm bases inside, but it seems a shame to do the 3d print without giving some thought to interior details.

Yes the rooms will be able to be pulled apart so you can use the inside. They are about 10cm wide if I remember correctly, the bridge itself is 20cm wide so it can be deceiving. Thanks :)

I've already made most of a city. The buildings, Inn, belltower, gallows and market are complete so far. This will be the bridge district and perhaps even used as a port. I have way too many plans and not enough time. If it was steadier income I'd be able to give up my day job.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone so far :)
