Black Scorpion compatible US troops

     I love my Black Scorpion Cowboys, and Apaches.  I’m not however crazy about the seventh cavalry figures they have done.  Figures stand 32mm to the top of the head. Any other companies make US cavalry or even ACW infantry that would fit?

I am interested in the answer to this question as well.  I suspect the problem for you, Nick, is the somewhat unconventional weaponry on many of them (shotguns, Winchesters).  They somewhat work for me, as the ones I have painted so far have been used in Shadows of Brimstone, a horror/western game.  But even for that game I would like more of the cavalry to have appropriate weapons.

             My problem with the Black Scorpion cavalry is more the over the knee boots they seem to be wearing.  I can live with the weapons.

I seem to recall that Galloping Major are hefty figures and might work? Failing that, maybe Redoubt ACW figures as Redoubt are normally at the larger end of the size range?

Ah, hadn't realized the boots were off. Shows what I know about uniforms of the period (not a lot).

You might want to look at the Artizan 7th Cavalry figures.
