Beautiful pictures from RoSD!
How big (point value) was the Oathmark gane?
2400 pts,  which worked very well. We played it out in 2h, including looking up some rules. There was a nice variation of unit types. I think 2000 - 3000 pts might be a good standard size for a game

How big was the table? How many turns did you have? Was it some scenario, or just kill-them-all? Do you have maybe a unit list?

Let's see:
-The table was 90x120 cm
-We played for 5 turns
-No special scenario
-Mostly humans vs goblins

Wasnt the table too dense? Were 5 turns enough? Did you use artillery?

The table-size was fine. Since the armies started close to one another there was action right from the start. We ended the game after five turns with about half the lorenthian Army retreating in good order. They had lost a couple of important units and were in danger of getting surrounded. The shadow deep on the other hand had only lost a single complete unit, but almost all units had suffered losses and weren't able to deliver as much punch as the remaining lorenthian units.
Could have played it out in another 2-3 turns, I guess. But the decision is fitting with the narrative, so we left it at that.
We had one light catapult and it was very effective against regular infantry. Very potent because of the combination of indirect fire, high range, flank bonus and negation of shielding.

Thanks!
I experienced, that catapults can be devestating against big units, they can block a big area, even on 6x4 (180x120) table.
We play until now also without a goal, and so more then 6 turns seems to be no fun anymore.

I'm glad you get some use out of my impressions ;)

I have created the Kingdom of Alladore as a Kingdom in Oathmark. I'm planning a narrative campaign consisting of RoSD and Oathmark games. What do you think of the map (drawn in Wonderdraft by me) and the terrain-choices?

Wonderdraft is a really nice map-drawing software.  The advantage is you buy it once and have it, it's not a subscription like some other ones.  Definitely worth checking out.  About $30.

An example of one I did:

The maps look excellent! I use Campaign Cartographer, which I like (despite the learning curve to get used to the user interface) but the results from Wonderdraft look just as good. Is it fairly intuitive to use?

I like the rest of the project, too. Using RoSD and Oathmark in a single campaign seems like a great idea.

Mr J and Ultra, glad you like it. Elbows did it a good job explaining what Wonderdraft is. Very nice looking map, by the way! I initially used Inkarnate, but got annoyed with the subscription system.

Pettus Magnus, I have to say I find Wonderdraft very unintuitive, at least compared to Inkarnate. It has a lot more functions and you can customise a lot more, but you also have to spend more time learning the program. Where I was able to create a decent looking map in Inkarnate in 30 min on the first try, it took me the better part of an afternoon in Wonderdraft. Now that I have gotten the hang of it, it's not so much an issue.
I think the program is tailored a lot more to zoomed out maps of continents than I'd prefer, since I mostly draw regional maps without coastlines and with a bit more detail.

A Captain for the forces of Alladore. The colour contrast sets him apart from the rank and file, so he can be easily spotted during games.
Let's hope the shadow deep does not employ any snipers ;)
