PrivateBuzz  I am loving the ground level and rooftop viewpoints. And those buildings just continue to blow my breath away. Incredible that you completed them all to such a standard in so short a time.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

Next instalment will be played today. Watch out for Bob's write up & pictures.

Has the report of  Johnny Reb's death been 'Greatly exaggerated'?
Why has the Funeral Director moved out of that big building, & who bought it?
Where did his money come from, & more important, where is it now?

Second out door Wild West game, as played at my place yesterday.
Gazebos erected the night before and here we go.
Figures 28mm from all those involved.
Special mention to Digits for more ‘non-combatants’ than you could wave a stick at. Jamie and Pete brought some ‘passers by’ too.
Buildings - fantastic - from Jamie
Scenario from the world famous Has.been.Pete
Rules Ffol, as ever.

So what’s been happening in Mal Passo ?

The lockdown of Mal Passo was easing. Citizens started to be seen on the streets, wagons were moving. However amongst the innocents were several nefarious groups.

The intervening days since the big shoot out had given time for wounds to be patched up and new gang members to be drafted in.

The word was out ‘The Undertaker’ ‘He knows something’. Who is the strange moneyman buying the funeral parlour ? Where did he get all his money ? (Mexican gold ?)

So it looks like we all need to have a nice word with the undertaker, to find out where he’s getting his cash flow from ?
With this in mind, the gangs enter the town.

So just as the undertaker is having some photos taken for a glossy new ad campaign, the gangs arrive, and once again all hell let’s loose. No time for talking, when you’ve got a gun in your hand.

Smile for the camera.

Hold on, what happened about talking to the undertaker?

Even more figures fall....all caught on camera.

Now, as well as the firefight outside the funeral parlour, things in town get really busy.
Here come the Women’s Institute on a day out.

Obviously demonstrating about the amount of violence in the town.

Here come the Mexicans with their sheep.

Cattle also arrive in town.

And just for good measure, here comes a wagon train at the same time.

This has trouble written all over it. Might end up like the M25 on a Friday night.

The Preacher was spreading the word, down the other end of town.
Now he classes ‘spreading the word’ by shooting anyone in the back, as soon as he sees them.
‘Gets then to heaven quicker’ he says.

The town posse , headed up by JC, did loads of running and hiding, then decided to take pot shots at the cow hands as they rode through town...very odd.

The Mexicans headed up by Digits, brought their sheep to market, then went home drunk...gulp !

The congestion in town, just got worse.

Cattle, sheep, WI, and wagon trains don’t mix.

Who spooked the cattle ?

So inclusion, the undertaken was questioned by two of the gangs.
He said his money was coming from a Mr R De-Ursine. ??? :o

He also said ‘Jonny Reb has more lives than legs’ and that ‘Doc Shultz is involved too’.

Now I ran the Commodores gang, and got this info out of the undertaker, but it meant absolutely nothing to me. It turned into a murder mystery game in the end, with an added dose of traffic congestion.

I’m sure the other gang leaders will add their comments......

Many thanks to all parties involved.
It was good to get together and roll some dice.

Once again, looks great. Love the herd of longhorns being driven through town. And you even had genuine Tex-Mex temperatures to accompany your game ;)

Some overviews of the game at the start.
Given the scenario briefing, i.e. The Undertaker has some information,
I was expecting people to TALK first. Maybe shoot later. To encourage this
it was stated, that as players were trying to hide amongst the townsfolk,
guns would start the game holstered & shotguns 'broken'.
In the entire game only two (out of five) players talked to the Undertaker.
They were given the name of the mysterious Mr 'X' (The one with the money).
With this VITAL information they did...NOTHING!!!!!! Simply joined in the gun-play.
Now I ask you dear reader, if you were given the name of someone in a town you
did not know very well, how would you find him?
I would have asked the locals & tracked him down. Not our heroes,
but who cares? Every-one had a good time, dice were thrown (& cursed), ammo
frequently ran out, but the food, drink & good humour did not.

Some more shots of the lovely set up. Buildings are (nearly all?) Jamie's
& an awful lot of the town's population Diget's.

A possible red herring, Juan Putsemin, the towns
other funeral director (Bargain prices).

Had a great time chatting with the guys and didn’t actually take many pics myself.  Great hospitality as usual, thanks Bob and JC for providing the sausages!  Thanks too Pete for running the game.  Wonderful weather added to a great day out.

Jamie’s buildings are great, made even better by the superb signage he does.  Best of all, turns out he lives five minutes from me and is willing to look at VC signage !  Result!

Lovely as the buildings are, we began to realise the roofer must have lost his nails!

I forget how many times a piece of roof fell on a poor unsuspecting gunhand....adding insult (and injury), to injury! Lol

We insist Jamie makes one of his next buildings, a roofer!

Insert joke roofer names here....

I did get a picture.  JC tried to get his gang to flank my peaceful Mexicans but the temperance ladies got in the way.  He therefore decided to chat one of them up but she hit him with placard!

The Noon stage prepares to leave, well it is quarter past one. Yup! It is early today.
Must complete the exposure of the Hearse, but the Director keeps stopping to talk to strangers.
Cows & sheep both heading for the crossroads.
More shooting & surprisingly (given what happened last time) Jamie's Top hatted boss
goes up onto the roof!

The cattle keep moooo-ving,  wagons in motion, Temperance Ladies too,
& the sheep? Well they just follow like...sheep.
A shoot-out by some back stairs goes by  hardly noticed.
All this time the valiant photographer keeps trying to get a picture.
Hard to concentrate with a burly Mexican looking over your shoulder.

"There's gunna be a big mess on the cross road"
" Sure is. I'd better get my shovel... It is good fer the roses"

Townsfolk gather on the walkways to see the coming calamity.
