Second out door Wild West game, as played at my place yesterday.
Gazebos erected the night before and here we go.
Figures 28mm from all those involved.
Special mention to Digits for more ‘non-combatants’ than you could wave a stick at. Jamie and Pete brought some ‘passers by’ too.
Buildings - fantastic - from Jamie
Scenario from the world famous Has.been.Pete
Rules Ffol, as ever.
So what’s been happening in Mal Passo ?
The lockdown of Mal Passo was easing. Citizens started to be seen on the streets, wagons were moving. However amongst the innocents were several nefarious groups.
The intervening days since the big shoot out had given time for wounds to be patched up and new gang members to be drafted in.
The word was out ‘The Undertaker’ ‘He knows something’. Who is the strange moneyman buying the funeral parlour ? Where did he get all his money ? (Mexican gold ?)
So it looks like we all need to have a nice word with the undertaker, to find out where he’s getting his cash flow from ?
With this in mind, the gangs enter the town.
So just as the undertaker is having some photos taken for a glossy new ad campaign, the gangs arrive, and once again all hell let’s loose. No time for talking, when you’ve got a gun in your hand.
Smile for the camera.
Hold on, what happened about talking to the undertaker?
Even more figures fall....all caught on camera.
Now, as well as the firefight outside the funeral parlour, things in town get really busy.
Here come the Women’s Institute on a day out.
Obviously demonstrating about the amount of violence in the town.
Here come the Mexicans with their sheep.
Cattle also arrive in town.
And just for good measure, here comes a wagon train at the same time.
This has trouble written all over it. Might end up like the M25 on a Friday night.
The Preacher was spreading the word, down the other end of town.
Now he classes ‘spreading the word’ by shooting anyone in the back, as soon as he sees them.
‘Gets then to heaven quicker’ he says.
The town posse , headed up by JC, did loads of running and hiding, then decided to take pot shots at the cow hands as they rode through town...very odd.
The Mexicans headed up by Digits, brought their sheep to market, then went home drunk...gulp !
The congestion in town, just got worse.
Cattle, sheep, WI, and wagon trains don’t mix.
Who spooked the cattle ?
So inclusion, the undertaken was questioned by two of the gangs.
He said his money was coming from a Mr R De-Ursine.
He also said ‘Jonny Reb has more lives than legs’ and that ‘Doc Shultz is involved too’.
Now I ran the Commodores gang, and got this info out of the undertaker, but it meant absolutely nothing to me. It turned into a murder mystery game in the end, with an added dose of traffic congestion.
I’m sure the other gang leaders will add their comments......
Many thanks to all parties involved.
It was good to get together and roll some dice.
