Gents

A mix of ranges, the Tin Soldier figures paint up surprisingly well!

Very nice!!! I've got a soft spot for Scythians and am trying to amass as many ranges of them as I can find. I passed on some Old Glory the other day, but now you're making me wish I hadn't!

Thanks Fremitus, the Old Glory range is excellent, I really like their nobles with barded horses. My favourite ranges are the Perry Foundry one and the Xyston one for 15mm. A mix of ranges is the way to go.

Nice! I've got a bunch of the Foundry range on order, though since I live over in the Rebel Colonies, there's no telling when I'll ever see them  lol  I'll keep an eye on the eBay for the Old Glory lot, I suppose! Right now other than the Foundry which I'll hopefully see some day, I have 1st Corps and a smattering of older ranges (some Ral Partha and RAFM, I believe). Anyway, I haven't painted any of them yet, but if I can get 'em half as good as yours, I'll be in good shape!

Yes mail order is a tricky proposition nowadays, I have had one recent order that took seven weeks! The 1st Corps range looks nice, I have some of their other ranges. Good luck with collecting and painting your Scythians.

Thanks gents, you can never have too many steppe nomads  :). The back drop is a printed photo I took bushwalking in the Snowy Mts, here in Australia.

Cheers
