Newly painted workers militia

Workers militia, mainly Musketeer and a couple of Anglian figures.

Finally worked out how to post images and it's such a relief.

The caps and the eyes do it. These are stunning. How did you go about painting the caps.

Thanks for the post.

The caps aren't that difficult really. Base colourand then black equally spaced lines to form squares and lighter lines between. The only proviso is the use of a very fine brush, a Windsor & Newton series 7 miniature brush to be exact.

Very nicely done all round. I think some of these figures could work for other Interwar conflicts as well.

Those figures are spectacular. The shading, eyes, detailing are tremendous. What great looking figures to have on your gaming table. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent stuff, and you are too modest about getting the check on the caps.

It looks easy enough at first, doesn't it? ;)

Excellent work. I love the look of these miniatures, especially that whole 'this isn't my job' feel about them. Still wearing their work clothes and suits.

The figures are really beautifully painted - awsome.....how long did it take you to complete them?

The figures took around 36 hours with many interuptions and spread over a week.
Here's a few more painted for me old mucker BillT of Musketeer Miniatures.

And thanks to everyone for the compliments.
