An Hyborian Journey : Cimmeria [update p.4 16/01/22]
« on: August 02, 2020, 10:59:59 AM »
Hi fellows,
I always have in mind to make my own hyborian minis from fantasy and historical plastic sets.
Here is a kitbash army from Gripping Beast, LOTR, Fireforge, Hat, Reaper, Frostgrave, DnD minis, Victrix, Wargame factory, Warlord Games, GW and some toys!

I present you the Horde Of Joldoghan, Witch-King of old times. There are the Witch-King himself, a shaman, a khan, a beastmaster, 4 guards, 4 horsearchers, 4 cavalrymen, 12 swordmen, 12 lancers, 12 archers and a warwagon. I will use this army for Dragon Rampant, Saga or maybe in skirmish events.

I am now working on Nemedian adventurers and hill skirmishers.

Some splendid kitbashing. Definitely has the right vibe for those Eastern Hyborian realms  8)

Genius work! A fresh look, with brilliant kitbashing that is varied yet looks cohesive at the same time. Well done!

Nicely done! I was surprised to see HaT listed among the figures used; I would have thought 1/72nd would have been too small but I can't figure out which ones are they. Unless it is the wagon?

The Hat figures are probably from their 28mm Medieval Spanish/Andalusian range. Those are moulded in hard plastic and could be the basis for some conversions.

Yes I used their 28mm range but I have made a headswap because they are a little too small (Some of the cavalrymen and the ballista man) The wagon is from toys.
