Heavy support has arrived in the shape of a teeny tiny classic metal terminator.
Obviously over the last 20 years space marines have started being corn fed judging by the size difference.  :)

Still not as tall as a straightened necron though.

Last pics are the next mini project vile mutant scum inhabiting the derelict. Bits box raid for bodies plus a bonus ebay buy of cult spires thank you dear vendor.

Mini projects are going really well. Seem to get so much more done and actually finished when it's just a few (6 or so) figures at a time rather than the usual avalanche on k2 of unpainted figs.
Cheers all

Morning all

Quick update and new mini squad finished, multiple manufacturers as usual
Bits box is actually getting lighter!

Very cool, I see some pig iron heads on those figs

All great, the Necron with Tau heads is so simple it's genius. I like them much better.
And the use of SM Scout bodies with Anvil Arms/weapons is another sliver of brilliance.

There is my boy on the right. So simple of a design.

But, because I have not seen then in person. Are the previous Necrons and the new Necrons the same models or are the new ones bigger like the Marines are Primaris size. Are the new Necrons Primaris size?

I have necrons and Tau, but never thought of gluing them together. Definitely going to explore that one :-*

I also have a box of Scouts in the loft that I couldn't think of anything to do with, so I may have to revisit them as well.

Greetings heads

Zemjw: any inspiration taken from this thread is free gratis and for nothing. :) any donations are of course gratefully received  ;)

Ggrrriimmnaarr
Here's a few comparison shots for your perusal.
Tau head drone is standard necron warrior from a sprue I've had for at least five years so I don't think it would qualify as one of the new ones.
I'm not mega up on the new gw stuff and don't have any 'new' necrons to compare it to.

Primaris has a plastic terminator head so that probably gives it two or 3 mill extra.

Will have to 'straighten out' another necron and make him a lieutenant or something.

Cheers all
