Rebasing all my fighters and missiles on new bases

After years of loose missile on my gaming board and loose dice marking fighter squadrons in large battle, I finally decided to upgrade my bases!  Now I through color and numbers I can differentiate between different squads on my tabletop!



Each base can be lifted out of the base and mark each base from 1 to 6



I also played with the idea of three fighters on a base (mostly because a friend asked for them, I like the single ones myself, but three three does look nice as well)

Those bases look great and those ships look great too. I want to get a few fleets, I used  to have a few fleets back in 1978,  when I was at Ft. Hood. Had to go overseas so I stored them back at home, then my folks decided to have a yard sale!

I took a look at your bases you have and I was wondering in addition to the numbers inside the base can small dice fit in the square opening as well?

The opening is just over 6mm wide, so yes, a 5mm dice should fit inside.  I do not have any dice that size but the measurement says they should.

I like the single flight stands and would use the number wheel for damage and the dice for the number of missiles left, for one on one games and as volley of missiles left for squadrons then use the wheel as it was intended number of crafts.
