Ah so these are cute baby walruses sold as pets to unsuspecting tourists, but then get too big for the bath back home and are abandoned into the local ponds to go feral?

No that's Manatees.  Walruses are arctic mammals.  Not many tourists go that far North and they don't fit into little plastic bags like the Manatees.

I have absolutely no need of these but they're hilarious.

And if you've ever watched any David Attenborough you know walrusses (walri?) are flippin' terrifying and the big ones can weigh a couple of tonnes. They might not be fast over sustained distances but if they do catch you it's gonna be painful...

These are so absurd! The army I never realized I didn't need. I do love them, though.

I'm no pinnipedologist, but rudimentary google-fu suggests walruses are faster than you would think on land, but still only about as fast as a human (which is probably faster than a halfling).

hmm if your talking hobbit Eskimo Kangarooists I would be happy with them as a faster lighter cavalry to work in conjunction with the heavier Walrus units... Skipping about on the army flanks..

Swiss hobbit submariner Narwhal riders might be hard sell - maybe magical flying Narwhals because they got tricked into thinking they were buying Unicorns?
