All sides seem to be decently motorized.

JBaumal,

You could always start your own local campaign.  You are welcome to use my rules modifications to TMWWBK.  The idea is to have a campaign, by email but have games in person, with social distancing, masks etc.

We started researching the local politics,  in 1933, found all kinds of weirdness, and simply added an excuse and it became easy to create our local civil war.

In terms of the national excuse, we used the alternate history of a successful assignation of FDR before his inauguration.  It is the American version of the very British civil war.

The advantage of a local campaign is that you can become an expert on local history, many of the buildings are still standing.  Look up the newspaper archives, Lists of local historical landmarks.  Go to the websites of local business that have been around a long time and maybe a history of the local police and before you know it you can have multiple factions

Are the two leftmost ones conversions? They look ace! And the figures are lovely, are these the footsore ones that Warlord stocked a while back? They work proper good for this! :)

Hi leadfool, regarding turning the images the right way up:

Did you take these pics using a smartphone or tablet? In some cases, the position data embedded is not correctly read, thus resulting in falsely-oriented pics. It might help if you opened them in an editing or viewing software on a computer, corrected the orientation and then saved the images before re-uploading here.

If using only a smartphone, it might work if you opened, rotated if necessary and saved them while holding the phone in the default position, I.e. upright, so that the orientation data is correctly saved.

It's always difficult to say without knowing the devices involved.

Chris is right.
Turn em over in the source media with edit photo and you can upload them again here in the right position.

I admit I am old school, but I had reoriented them before I loaded them and then they  defaulted to upside down.  Maybe it is a reference to their political orientation?
I will try again.

Not trying to be finicky, but did you actually SAVE the images after re-orienting them? I've found this to be an issue several times in the past, where orientation settings set on one device didn't carry over to another since they weren't embedded in the actual file but rather associated with some cache data of the software used.

The two cars on the "More Armor" photos. The far left is a Crosley, India pattern, with a improvised camo pattern.  The other is a conversion by Mike Branum and Mike "Skrapwelder" McGraw.  McGraw made the basic armored car as seen later in all black.  Branum added the turret from a Russian armored car model.

Pacific Gas and Electric. workers assault team.  There really was a conflict between the Northern California Utility company and a city of Sacramento utility company.  Of course it was only dealt with through litigation, but lawyer figures are no fun.  Sacramento Municipal Utility district (SMUD) was created by a local proposition in the 1932 election.  It was blocked from providing electricity, by PG&E until 1947.
