Adventurers of a special kind ...
« on: August 12, 2009, 04:35:14 PM »

These are the new figures coming with announced game THE ADVENTURERS by AEG and DUST GAMES, to be released at GenCon this fall. Yes, they are cartoony, but I like them ...  :-*

I like them too. Not quite as cartoony as the original artwork. I hope they do not make the game too expensive as I would quite like a set of these. They look like they may be a little tall to mix as well but are good enough as stand alones for me.

:o Size isn't everything, what a helmet. The German and the Brit would be worthy of my lead mountain.

very nice. I'll have to look out for that game.

@jimbibbly  I'm probably wrong but they look a bit too good to be prepaints. If they are it's going to be expensive - again I could be wrong.

That German is going on the buy list. An excellent evil scientist for VSF yarns.
Don't!

Certainly "interesting" looking minis!

I will keep a look out for the release.

BTW: The site states 25mm so scale may not be a huge problem......

...if you don't mine the slender, perhaps out of scale, hips and Village People attire.

You're probably right, it's just they seem like pre-paints, if you know what I mean.

cheers

Seems like a mob perfect for a 2nd Disney "Atlantis" film.

International in flavor, with a sampling of independent ladies, and dashing Gents.

The location is leaked, and a new crew of adventurers goes after the "Lost Empire" once more.
So you started a military Coup,
I'm sorry it only back-fired on you.

The uniform top of the girl with the flashlight (torch) in her hand is rather impractical... but if I was leading her team I'd have to say running would be the primary means of travel.  ;)

This was released on the 15th apparently. Anybody had chance to see it yet?

$50 in the online store which for a game with 12 minis does'nt sound too bad even to a tight wad like myself.

I think Leisure Games carry AEG games so hopefully they will be getting it in????
