Yes, that. Jump rings from the bead section at Michaels work well for this and there's a good variety of sizes. I made some bead pots years back and they turned out well. I even made some for Elk101.

I use a variety of flat or round headed sewing pins to stack/thread beads together. I then “glue” them together using Liquitex acrylic string gel (it dries clear).

I clip any excess/protruding length of pin, and super or hot glue to plates, dishes, or clear acetate bases.

Anything and everything that could appear to be a tray, plate, platter, etc... :)

Mostly costume jewelry fixings sourced from craft/hobby stores.
