Gallows model
« on: September 11, 2020, 03:07:24 PM »
I am working on a little set of papercraft props that I'll call "executioner tools" and it will include gallows. I think this could also be of interest for the wild west era, no?

Here is an advanced version of the wide build. I will also make an easy 2D flat version too. But this one looks quite cool, no? I might even try to replace the paper-noose with thread version.

I made it somewhat modular, meaning that you can choose different sizes of platform (and gallow framework accordingly). The platforms can be "empty" or with trapdoors.

Some stairs to attach ...

And you can even combine stuff for larger layouts!

I will also build a guillotine and a whipping post. That should cover the basic methods of executing law and order  :D

Chris
P.S. just noticed I forgot the level on the gallows! Need to add that  :)
