Mrs. Peel, we're needed!

 :'( :'( :'(

Massive Diana Rigg fan here, since as far back as I can remember.

And to keep it miniatures related, and thus within the forum rules, I'm going to buy this set tomorrow, not for any game, just because:

Yes, bit sad that. :'(
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

Good idea Plynkes. Very sad,she was gorgeous and a brilliant actor, last thing I saw her in was the Detectorists,a great little show. And she of course was a dish in it ;)

Quite a pity, indeed.

I was never a big fan of The Avengers (although it's obviously leaps and bounds better than that movie hash they made of it), but Ms. Rigg was great in pretty much everything I saw her in. The Assassination Bureau being a bit of a favourite of mine.

I love The Avengers, Chris. It's silly and kind of camp, and you can't take it seriously, but I think that's what I like about it.

Right now one of the British TV channels shows an episode every day, and currently they are showing episodes from the Diana Rigg era of the show. So that's great for me. They never seem to show stories from the black-and-white Honor Blackman era. I wonder if any survived? TV companies back then had a nasty habit of not holding on to their old episodes for lack of storage space and other reasons, and they thought there was no value in keeping them.

Doctor Who fans have long had to grapple with the 'lost episodes' situation. I wonder if it is the same with The Avengers? All I know is that I haven't ever seen one of the black-and-white episodes.

So I quickly googled Honor Blackman to make sure I spelled her name right and just dicovered she died this year, too. Jesus, I missed that Somehow. Diana Rigg, Honor Blackman, and also Millie Small this year (she wasn't in The Avengers or James Bond, but I was a big fan). On top of everything else this year, do you think you could give us a damn break, 2020?

Oh shit! Last I heard he was in the hospital. I caught him playing a few time here in vegas and drank a few beers with him. Dude was pretty chill.  :'(

Alan Minter too. Back in the sixties I was in love with Emma Peel.

I agree. It was great to see her acting along side her daughter who is also very easy on the eye  :)

Thought Diane Rigg was also very good in The Mrs Bradley Mysteries” I recently noticed her in the new adaptation of All Creatures Great and Small which looks promising so far.

Saw Dianna Rigg in a US comedy show, I forget the name of it, but I do remember
one scene where the stuck up American matriarch, to get respect,  says, 'MY family
came over in the Mayflower!'  Dianna's character retorts, 'My family probably made them go!'
